Judge Says Holocaust-Questioning Principal Should Not Have Been Fired

A judge has ruled that a former Boca Raton school principal who made national news for his comments about the Holocuast should not have been fired.

William Latson was removed from his position with Spanish River High after an e-mail he sent to a parent surfaced in which he wrote that he couldn't say the Holocaust was a "factual, historical event."

Judge Robert S. Cohen ruled this week that the Palm Beach County School District failed to prove that Latson engaged in misconduct and should have received a reprimand or reassignment.

Latson claimed his words were twisted and blamed the parent.

The district says it's examining the judge's decision.
