It's deadline day today to register, change your address or party affiliation to vote in Florida's presidential preference primary next month. If you have no party affiliation you will not be able to weigh in. Florida holds a closed primary meaning you can only vote for candidates of the same party you're registered during the primary. If you want to change your party affiliation it's easy to do. Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections Christina White says you can do it online or get a written form at the public library or elections office. She says just be sure all online changes are made by midnight and written forms must be postmarked today. The primary is set for March 17th, early voting begins March 2nd.
