TAMPA -- Hillsborough deputies are on the scene after a small plane made a hard landing in east Tampa.
The Sheriff's Office says the aircraft made a hard landing at 2210 U.S. Highway 301 South in the 3 p.m. hour.
The tail number reveals the plane is a Cessna 172R single engine aircraft built in 1998. FAA records show the plane's registered owner is Atlas Aviation Tampa Inc. It had just been certified on September 14th.
