Florida Ranked #1 For Higher Education, 13th Overall

Florida is 13th in a ranking of the 50 states by U.S. News & World Report.

Factors considered include health care, education, economy, infrastructure and opportunity.

The Sunshine State ranked #3 in education, but #1 in higher education.

Home to 3 colleges that made the top 100 colleges in the US with University of Florida (35), University of Miami (53), and Florida State University (70) puts Florida in the #1 spot for higher education.

The state also came in second place for fiscal stability.

Washington state is ranked first overall and Louisiana is last on the list.
